Hi Carlos

If you import your Papyrus references into Endnote (using the recommended
import/export formats, which worked nicely for every one of my 24,000
references), the Papyrus number is imported to a field called "Label".  But
you cannot have Endnote automatically increment that Label field thereafter,
so you will have to adopt a new system for identifying your references in an
Endnote world.  (Endnote does have its own auto number, but there is no way
of editing it, or importing data to it).  Not entirely satisfactory, but
maybe the best of a bad lot.

For what it is worth, I think i might go with Endnote though Biblioscape
would be cheaper and better still if not for the clunky way of formatting
text within titles, eg italicising words  (Biblioscape makes you use rtf
codes, if you please!)
