[Papyrus-L] Papyrus: Windows a plea from the heart

Dave and all:
I wish to add to the pleas being made for a fully, Windows-based
version of Papyrus, and ask a question which may have implications for
the urgency of this issue.
According to a review in our local paper this morning, the forthcoming
Windows XP is a major improvement, quite unlike earlier MicroSoft
"upgrades." This is mainly because it will be significantly more stable
than '95, '98, and '00. It is said to achieve this stability by
(finally! in the reviewer's perspective) abandoning the core of DOS code
that kept earlier versions backwardly compatible but also prone to
collapse.
Dave, this raises the question: Will Papyrus run (at all) under this
new version?
