Well, that explains why it looks so good from the seller's POV. And the 
lack of sales 'nearby'.

Had a new look, at least from the 'Seller Hub' interface you can pick 
Calculated International Shipping, choose select single countries or 
continents, and save that as a new shipping option. eBay lets you add 
(but not remove or restrict) shipping options on an open auction. If the 
regular interface has the right checkboxes and there is no International 
Shipping option now,  that might address the original problem?

Looks good to me anyway. Expect I'll be changing my shipping method once 
I figure out the quirks to this. Unless there is a better way.
