Hello all,

I am running for vice-president of the Glenside Color Computer Club, Inc.

I am currently the newsletter editor for the club. This job keeps me busy.

I live in Chicagoland, and am able to attend the business meeting in person. I am able to visit possible CoCoFEST! venues.

I have worked to make the business meeting available on-line. I have worked to make the club membership database available on-line. I have worked with CoCoFEST! pre-registration and registration.

I believe I have been with the club since 2008, so that is 11 years. Chris Hawks introduced me to the club. I own a Tandy Color Computer 3 and a TRS-80 Model MC-10. I am a hardware and firmware/software engineer. I program in Verilog, BASIC, Python, C++, C, and assembly. I know 6809 assembly. I love 8-bit computers. I hope to one day design and build a 1-bit computer. I also like Linux. I became interested in computers when the TRS-80 Model 1 first came out.

What could be different in the future...
I would like to find a new newsletter editor for the club. I would like some web page development software (or on-line service) for the club and someone to run it. I would like to get the online database to generate more reports. I would like to improve vendor pre-registration. I would like to improve non-vendor pre-registration. I would like to improve registration. I would like to experiment with hardware registration. If we had a database of Tandy Color Computer serial numbers then could we determine how many were sold? If I knew how many members had CoCo 3's with 2 MB of RAM then I would know the Max number of software packages I could sell. Hardware registration is Randy Weaver's idea. Bob Swoger has some information in his database about who run OS9 and such. So we can email only people interested in OS9. Or email members who bought the Glenside IDE and tell them about a software upgrade.
