FWIW, I had no intention of coming across as criticizing either, I
respect Walter managing his work flow as it suits him. I was genuinely
interested in knowing why the things are the way they are, because
from my point of view, probably not knowing all the details, it
appears as less optimal. But he doesn't need to answer, here on the
list or elsewhere.
On the GPL issue, it doesn't force anyone to ship source code together
with the binaries, you simply must provide the source to those who ask
(and already got binaries) - which is exactly what Walter is doing.
