Yes, I did this for all the Sierra games to run from my hard drive. Also 
used a launcher program so they could be run from Multivue. It set up 
the windows, chd'd and chx'd to the proper directory, etc. with one 
click on the icon.

Boot to the game and never have to swap the disks.  This should be doable for most if not all of the Sierra games through a disk image on the SDCX.  Unless the SDCX is hard coded for 35 track single sided disk images.
