[Coco] Looking for a Spectral Associate contact

I've done it with 3 characters. I was planning on doing a video, and I will be more than happy to contribute to the FAQ. I saw a couple online but I didn't think they were still active.

I'll give out one hint right now...

If playing on a Coco3, type in POKE 65497,0 before you type in DOS. This is the high-speed poke to run at 1.78Mhz. The Interbank Incident runs at 0.89Mhz default for Coco 1/2 players.

The reason you can't get to the Apartment (Seattle/Rio) is they are possible hideout locations. The manhole cover in Munich is also a possible hideout. To unlock the locations:

1) Must be the hideout location (random in each game)
2) Have done enough tasks (IE give items/searches/locate items and be low in money).

Each character has different abilities and traits. This means that some items are useful to some while useless to others. And giving items to the right people will have different results. Sometimes you will not get clues. For example, if you give the bottle of scotch to the exchange student, she may simply say, "Thanks" and give nothing in return. If you use the quarter at the lockers in the monorail station, it may be empty. Also, some search areas may yield items that were previously empty. Always search again.

Each plane flight is about $800 one way. The pilot will take money in increments of around $800. Thus, if he takes about $2500, you will get about 3 one way flights.

I have more tips/hints but I don't want to spoil it.

Well I collaborated with someone online in order to come up with an FAQ that would help someone beat the game, and as far as we knew, we were the only two to have even accomplished that task, since both of us had checked dozens of message boards looking for someone who had a clue of how to beat it.

I have found at least one other and adding you make maybe 4 people who have beaten it. (I imagine there are others here who have but i am only taking a survey.) I

don't want to include a link to my FAQ (I am not trying to promote) but if anyone wants to it is available at GameFAQS
