[Coco] CocoSDC + floppy drives

Hi,

Can I please have a link to HXD. Google is giving me ~ 2008 hits.

After FIVE YEARS of trying to understand a problem with a "Windows Defective Software" driver for one of my ATSC tuners, I finally realized why just one other person and myself had the problem.

The Linux program gpartd (spelling ?) Sabotages the Windows Partition table when used.

That single program is the only one AFAIK that uses a value that is either zero (0) or illegal in the Windows Partition table. And then only when it is told to play a HDTV capture in reverse. I estimate that only ~ 8 people at Microsoft would understand the problem.

My first step before installing windows (Win 3.1 and later, XP, VISTA, W7) has been to create ~ 40 GB partitions or some small size. Never do I wish to have one 500 GB partition.

I always have done this. Always! Operator error, don't use Linux gpartd to play with Windows Partitions.

SHF

P.S. I have three tuners that use the same "Windows Defective Software" driver. It has many other problems that are part of the Defective Software rating. The really sad part is that it is my best tuner, one that is logically off line
