[Coco] Including an SSC (was: CocoSDC)

I've already posted an extensive reply to another thread that showed up for
me as an earlier thread (not intending to discuss email clients).

I'm one who personally agrees with Nick.

No pins left on the CPLD for a SSC or inclination/time/skills/etc to
otherwise add SSC functionality, oh well. If it was possible to *drop in*
a MP3 chip and be able to access the same SD card to play selected tracks,
then great... if not, then oh well.

As I'd suggested, if some header pins *could* be added, this could be used
to add such functionality at a later time.

And yes Nick, a potential, future, variation of Darren's great CocoSDC
would be a hard sell as most who wanted that functionality, would indeed
be reluctant to purchase another as they already would have that *base*
functionality. As you said, this is the reason that the SSC did not have
much support, back in the day.

If you build it, they will come ;)
(but, if it is not to be, then oh well, we tried)
