I think the key to any of these video display enhancers is the software 
support to make it easily usable by all.

Not much point having this device that holds so much potential and 
nobody creates anything for it.

What Tim is doing is right. Backing up the hardware with a special 
version of Disk Basic that allows control of features from within Basic.

Although, the Disk Basic environment is starting to get cluttered with 
all these different versions.

Maybe we need a Disk Basic that can take extensions stored on Disk like 
a real DOS?

Or re-programmable SRAM for Disk Basic Updates maybe?
