[Coco] New CoCo videos from Radio Shack

Yep, The salesman in my local shack was the area manager. He owned 2 Model 1s, 3 Model 3s and his 2 line BBS ran on 2 Model 4s. Later, he also had several 1000s & 2000s which also took over the BBS. He could answer any computer question and direct you to any item in his store or tell you if it was in stock.
He was actually the one who got me started with the Coco and helped get on his BBS. He also directed me to Rainbow mag and Hot Coco.
Then... they opened the big "Radio Shack Computer Store" in the mall. I asked one of the salemen in there if they stocked the drive for "NEW!" Coco 3 they were featuring in a BIG promotion nearly blocking their front entrance... he said "They make one for that thing?.. Now this one here <pointing to the EX> has one of those disk things built in... I think." There was a drive connected to the Coco running the infamous "Demo" as we spoke. A year or so later, the store started selling IBMs and the Tandy line diminished. Another year and they closed the Computer Store. Here's the kicker... it was in a very large mall... right next to Radio Shack!. No given saleman in either store could tell you the name of one in the other store.

Yea not going to wait around for that one either... lol.

Heck I would be happy is RS would just move away from being a cell phone
store. They have in recent months improved on it, but they are a far cry
from the golden years. I remember being able to alk in there and the
salesmen at least had some sort of technical background, or some basic
electronics knowledge.
