[Coco] Color Error in VCC

Mine is giving white background on the graphics set. It could be something to do with the version of windows and the palette set being used by windows itself. This laptop is running XP. Or it could be something to do with the graphics card. My question is why does it show white on VCC and black on every other emulator I use? Could VCC somehow have it's palette's being initialized to the wrong startup colors? I will check this out on my big machine when I get home next week and what colors it shows because I know laptops can do screwy stuff sometimes. Whatever the condition causing this, Luis has the same conditions.

There must be some problem with Luis' VCC setup. I'm using version 1.42, and 
he example programme produces green characters on a black background (first 
wo rows), black characters on a green background (next two rows), then 4 
ows of coloured blocks on a black background. This tallies with the "real" 
oco3.

 real Coco. Luis was running VCC and not a Coco. I'm out of town for the 
 rest of the week so I can't get to my Coco right now and compare. But what

 1 Yellow

 Whatever you are seeing, it is not the result of VCC. I just ran a test 
 with a
 S Coco3 using both RGB and Composite 60Hz monitors. Before running your
 rogram, either the RGB or CMP commands were used to get an appropriate 
 color
 et. The colors displayed on the matching monitor were a very close match 
 to the
 colors displayed by VCC 1.42 on a Samsung SyncMaster 204B digital monitor. 
 The
 MP and RGB monitor colors were very close to each other but not a perfect
 atch, starting with the appropriate color set.
 Now with the real hardware, it was necessary to adjust brightness, 
 contrast,
 olor intensity, and tint. If that was not done, the colors were not quite 
 what
 hey should have been. That should not be a surprise as the Coco can't 
 exactly
 atch CMP and RGB colors given the small range of possible colors.
 The Coco3 and therefore VCC default to the CMP color set. There may be 
 small
 ifferences in color between NTSC and PAL sets or even 60 and 50Hz units. 
 Your
 rogram does not force the use of a specific color set, and it should if 
 you
 ant any chance of getting appropriate colors.
