hear, hear. I often have a handful of OS9 sessions open via telnet,
and I've talked with several others who do the same. It is very
convenient, but limited by the fact that lots of OS9 software just
doesn't work on a terminal despite being character based.

i've considered solutions that involve creating a new sort of os9
device, either a /W type or some translation layer, but these projects
have been put on the back burner for me at least. it would be nice to
find more software that "just works" with terminals.
