For newer computers, Ansi C, C++, maybe python, ruby, perl.

For the CoCo, assembly, K&R C(*), BASIC-09, and maybe Pascal.

(*)K&R refers to Kernighan and Ritchie, the original creators of C.
The book you really want for use with the OS-9 C compiler is _The C
Programming Language_ by Brian W. Kernighan and Dennis M. Ritchie,
ISBN 0-13-110163-3 It's long out of print but probably shows up on
Amazon or ebay. It's a pretty good tutorial in its own right, IMHO.

There was supposedly a C compiler for BASIC, but I've never seen it.
There are a few other programming languages available under OS-9
(Pilot, iapl, forth, lisp(?)) but they seem limited.
