[Coco] Cross Compiling Open Source Games to CoCo

I was wondering how hard it would be if one had the source code for a game to compile it to run on the CoCo 3. The games I have in mind are old "rouge like" type games that are open source and have source code freely available. I know that Epyx released Rouge for the Coco. Is this just a matter of running them thru a application like Rainbow IDE and cleaning up code?

I am not a programmer or coder but would love to play these types of games on my coco and if it's fairly easy to get them ported over perhaps someone with more knowledge than I could lend a hand. I have listed some links below. I would think a 512K Coco could run some of these.
