 I must be an idiot.

LHA, when not given input says...

LHA v2.11: File Archive Copyright (c) Haruyasu Yoshizaki,
1988-91
LHA OS9 v2.11c by E. M. Krenciglowa 1993-94 UNLZH by N. Rheaume
1992
Usage: LHA <command> [-option[-+012|WDIR]] <archive[.lzh]> [DIR/]
[filespecs]

What is -+012?
What is [filespecs]

So as soon as I sent my original message on this subject, I went to RTSI to
see if I could find something to do this task. I found LHA and the !DOCS!.
Great, I thought...

In looking through it, I found what I thought I needed but it looks sort of
like a MSDOS version

>From the manual....

The following questions are the most frequently asked ones:

      (1) How do you backup a disk a: ?

                        LHA a /r2x1 LZH a:\

Well, so far, the best I have been able to do is with..

lha a -r1x1 HTML html/*

This is the actual syntax as the particular directory is HTML

This resulted in an lzh file with all the files in that directory, but the
directory structure was lost. I did get all the files, though.

I tried various qualifiers, ie: 012 and got different results, including
crashing the /t2 port. I use Hyperterminal to work on my coco..

At this point, I'm at a loss how to make LHA make an image of the directory
I want to save. It isn't going to work if it won't keep the directory
structure as it is.

 Suggestions?

George
