No, no, no. David. 
All is not lost. One of the many great "things" about the Tandy computers. As soon as you 
can disconnect from computer. Find somewhere to disassemble it, lots of little screws. try 
not to loose any. 
 Inside the case is another case (with even more screws, definately avoid loosing any of 
these). Inside that case you find a flexible circuit board. carefuly, carefuly remove this .
