 The Gsort.lzh on RTSI comes with your release notes and the source code.
 It did the trick. My CMDS directory looks a lot better now. It took about 
ten seconds to do the task of sorting that directory.

 It does not come with instructions. I suppose, since it was a replacement, 
it was assumed the operator would know how to use it. I did not.
 So I sorted a throw away directory about five times trying to find the HELP 
in this utility until I noticed the directory was sorted.
  Now I know! Simply execute Gsort and the working directory I am in, it 
will be sorted.
