You can cut back on the necessary time -- as well as the tedium -- by using
BBEdit or Nisus Writer and batch-deleting the offending lines with a GREP
find & replace. (You are on a Mac? The same thing can be done in PERL or any
grep-savvy Windows editor, but I have no idea what would be required on the
other side.) If you happen to use a Mac, I may be able to help with your
problem if you send me a representative specimen of your data.
