I've been using a 2GB JAZ drive for about 18 months in exactly the same way
as you (wouldn't be without it !) but with no problems accessing any of the
three copies. I had heard before I went to JAZ that they were not very
robust so I discarded one at the very earliest hint of a problem several
months ago, even though it was expensive.
