OK, Papyrophiles, clearly there's an opportunity here.
Two prizes will be offered by an apocryphal donor (no real ones are
available, given the extensive donor fatigue that has set in as a result of
fundraising by underfunded universities and research institutes worldwide),
for guesses about Why The Lawyers Are Muzzling Dave. The first prize will
be for the most accurate guess, and the second for the most improbable. The
winning entries will be selected by an objective and impartial panel of
academic researchers (clearly a null set, which appeals to my
non-competitive side). Each prize will consist either of the unrestrained
approbation of the Papyrus-using community, or a lifetime's stain on the
reputation of the winner, whichever seems more appropriate to the entry in
question.
