[Coco] RS232 Rom

Can someone please tell me if the new RS232 Rom use the same memory address
for receiving, checking if any data has arrived, sending, receiving data
and checking for carrier is the same as the old RS 232 Pack?

Using the RS232 rom how can I receive and send data from and to the
internet if I am going to write my own telnet server?
