[Coco] CoCo 2

Well… I’ve been playing with the emulators, too. Part of why I am interested in playing with a real Coco again for awhile. That, and I just got another copy of the audio spectrum analyzer pack and I’m not sure if it works with the Coco 3.
I’m not opposed to replacing caps, either. In fact, I’d love to restore an old coco. I’ll pull these caps off and test them in the next few days. I went ahead and ordered some caps just to have them on hand when I do.
One of the Cocos I watched went from $55 to $118 in the final seconds of the auction. Looks like there’s still some interest in these old machines! But I managed to snag a 26-3127B for just under $100 with shipping from Muskegon. The seller didn’t know much about it, but says it turns on. Looks nice, and it should be 64K already.

There’s some rather dark goo around the base of a couple transistors in the power supply section. That would either be some glue or those caps have leaked. (or both) All of the keys seem to be working fine. And there’s no sign of yellowing on the keyboard or case.
