I can send u a 6309 and I also have the 64k for your coco2.

Ask Mark for the drivewire cable. (it's cheap).

Here is the 'how to' for drivewire

Well, my RF adaoter came in today, and I was finally able to test the CoCo 1 and MPI I just recently got, and the CoCo 2 I got a few years ago. It all works (after cleaning the contact pins on the MPI, at any rate)!

Except I have some dead keys on the CoCO 1's chiclet keyboard. I suspect one of the pins on that ribbon is not making good connection, though. I'll reseat it later and see how it goes.

In the interim, I am going to move towards upgrade and refurbish on these units. To that end, I have asked Mark at Cloud 9 about the PAL chip for the MPI (thanks for the suggestion), ordered a CoCoSDC and ECB chip since there were some in stock from Ed, and I happened to have some money for a change. The CoCo 2 I have is a later model US unit (not the Korean ones) with 16K, ECB, and the "melted" keyboard. I will be looking into upgrading both of these units to the full 64K soon..

I'm still looking for solid info on how to upgrade this CoCo 1 mainboard to 64K, though. The mainboard has 2 jumpers marked 64K and I have been lead to believe that means it is likely an "E" revision board. I would prefer to have more certain confirmation before I risk damaging a unit that would be difficult to replace, though.

I would also appreciate if someone could point me to a CoCO 3, at least 1 6309 CPU, and how to set up DriveWire (what hardware and software I will need)..
