[Coco] connecting a coco to a tandy 1000 via deluxe rs232 pak / telepak 2 and null modem cable

I have been using my Deluxe rs232 pak to connect to my trs80 PT-210 terminal.   I wanted to expand this to my Tandy 1000 also.


I made a null modem cable and connected my coco to the 1000 by connecting the deluxe rs232 pak to the tandy 1000's db9 connector


You can make the cable like this:


           RS232 paks DB25                  Tandy  1000's DB9

PIN     2                                    to        2

           3                                    to        3

           7                                    to        5

join     8 to 20                         join     6,1,4, and 20 together

                                                 join      7 and 8 together
