Travis, do an "mdir" and check for "cowin". If you're using a standard boot from the repo, someone replaced "cowin" with "cogrf" a few years ago and "cogrf" does not support MultiVue's menu system. If you have cogrf (or covdg for that matter) instead of cowin, MultiVue will not run (as well as some other software). I have complained about this several times but it's fell on deaf ears.
Cogrf is a simplified version of the windows driver that has only a few bare essentials, and one of things removed is the MultiVue support. Also, if you find you have "covdg", then that definitely does not support MultiVue.

It's things like this that helps keep OS9 from being used by non-OS9 users... perpetuating the hostility of OS9 since 1987...

Subject: [Coco] Installing Multi-Vue on a NitrOS9 VHD (CoCoSDC)

All,I've copied the contents of the Multi-Vue floppies in their entirety to aVHD running NitrOS-9 Level II / 6309. Multi-Vue attempts to start, butnever makes it to the graphics mode.Is there a special module that needs to be loaded in order for Multi-Vue towork, or perhaps a new OS9Boot entirely? I've always gotten hung up on thispart.Thanks,-- Travis PoppeIRC: tlp on irc.freenode.net-- Coco mailing listCoco at maltedmedia.comhttps://pairlist5.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/coco
