Blackberry used a toughened up version of the Alcatel hardware when they came out with the DTEK50 running Android. It has ‎a hardened kernel‎ and secured Bootloader

Good hardware

No, nearly every model was a "special order" taking days to ship it to
the customer, who then had to bring it back to the store for an extra
fee enabling it. Hell of a way to run a train IMO. Sprint did the same
thing to me 2 years running in Iron Mountain MI. Phone didn't work when
I bought it back home to WV at the end of that trip. So I dig it out
and take it with me the next time I was up there. Didn't work, sim card
expired. Had to buy another $250 phone. About 5 weeks total use cost me
over $500. The local phone company was worse, any call out of town was 5
buck a minute long distance, including across the railroad tracks to
Kingsford MI. Next time I bought a phone before I went up, worked fine
for about $30 a month. Now I have one of Wallies Alcatels, $11 month,
but even turned off, it needs charged every week or so. Taint that great
a phone, and its camera is a joke. But its a road phone. ;-)
