Hi Guillaume,
seems very good news this upgrade!
But by now, after downloading it, once installed on my card, the screen
opens showing only: EMPTY CARD
Of course starting v0.35 shows all of the contents with no problems (?)
Is there anything that must be done to use the new 0.40 version?
My CoCo-SDC for the Dragon is at firmware version 1.16 as this is the last
one made/published by Darren Atkinson for the Dragons.
To go version 1.17 we need to get to a CoCo3 in order to use MAP1, but
this implies having a copy of SDC-DOS which is no more installed on our
cards for Dragons :-(
Any advice to overcome this problem will be very appreciated

thanks in advance
pere

For those who need to archive their large floppy disks collection, I've
added
support to read and write floppy disks from/to disk images on the SD card
and
to show the floppy disk directory. Only the standard Coco single sided
35-track
format is supported for the moment but I might add other formats as well as
Dragon support if there is a demand for it.

New commands:

- SHIFT-R: read floppy disk to a disk image on the SD card
- SHIFT-W: write disk image on the SD card to a floppy disk
- SHIFT-D: show floppy disk directory

The rename command was reassigned to SHIFT-N.

This version now uses the official Coco SDC I/O routines from Darren. It
fixes
timeout errors when creating new disks or directories on slower and large
SD
cards.

It can be downloaded from the Color Computer Archive:
http://www.colorcomputerarchive.com/coco/Disks/Utilities/Coco%20SDC%20Explorer%200.40%20(Guillaume%20Major).zip

Also, I have compiled a Coco SDC image with all disk software from the
Color
Computer Archive. The SDC image has the same structure as the archive and
is
optimized for Coco SDC Explorer.

It can be downloaded here:
http://www.colorcomputerarchive.com/coco/Disks/Coco%20SDC/

Enjoy!

Guillaume
