[Coco] Tokenized Basic

The real savings in using the "shortcuts", was line length. It allowed you to pack more code into a line. Really handy for long FOR/NEXT & IF/ELSE/THEN loops. I did this quite a bit in my BASIC days before I moved on to OS9 (and never looked back).

Maybe I'm wrong though... don't knowany others and never tried to write code using the tokens themselves.Really no need, would need a cheat sheet to refer to or a lot to remember-- and BASIC will tokenize when saved anyway, so why go to the effort toremember them all? No real purpose for using tokens when writing code, theREM token/shortcut saves a little typing, but the others aren't used asmuch and would waste time remembering/refering to a sheet.-- Coco mailing listCoco at maltedmedia.comhttps://pairlist5.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/coco
