And you will not as long as you are using gmail, unless you setup an 
account to send to, and a separate account to receive from. Else the 
reply from the server is seen as a duplicated message, and is auto 
deleted. And google is carved out of diamond on that point, its not open 
for discussion. Thats just one of several reasons I bailed out of useing 
gmail for anything, several years ago.
