[Coco] CoCo 2 26-3127 keyboard issues

Bad keyboard PIA?

This is a very unusual problem that I've never heard of before.

Couple of things you could try:

Make sure the joysticks are unplugged.  Conceivably, a flaky joystick
button might be involved.

Take a close look at the keyboard's ribbon cable.  Any evident problems?
Any effect of unplugging the ribbon cable and plugging it back in?
