[Coco] The Beta Test release of MShell

Bob the "hires interface" code is still there. What is being discussed (and I missed as well) is Nick's "software hires" code that reads STANDARD joysticks to a higher resolution. It's really cool. It read all 640 hires positions with a standard tandy joystick and No interface needed. It was written to replace RSDOS joy reads, but no OS9 version has been done yet. There's a question of timing taking too long for OS9's interrupts, but I think it can be done. Here's a link to the code:

I can't understand why the hi-res code was REMOVED from Nitros9. It always worked well before?Regards, Bob DevriesDalby, QLD, AustraliaOn 2016-05-16 4:20 AM, David Ladd wrote:> On Sun, May 15, 2016 at 2:19 AM, Bill Pierce via Coco <coco at maltedmedia.com>> wrote:>>> I'm not sure how Gary implemented the joystick routines.
