Bob, the answer to your first question is that the NOS9 repo sources are the latest. The disk images may be a little behind that (not much), but are stable and safe to use. I'm not sure, but I think the sources are being prepped for release of 3.3.1.

OK... I have found the answer to question 2. There's a website http://sdlmame.wallyweek.org/ which has .deb files for sdlmame and sdl mess. with some fiddling and man page reading I installed version 0.152, and it works. (on my eeepc900 running lubuntu 15:04).Which version of mess is the highest version known to work as a coco emulator without falling over?Regards, Bob DevriesDalby, QLD, AustraliaOn 2016-05-03 9:41 AM, Bob Devries wrote:> Hi all,> I thought I asked this before, but don't remember the answer:>> Is the NitrOS9 repository on SourceForge the latest and greatest, and if> not, where do I get it?>> Is it possible to download precompiled older versions of MAME/MESS for> Ubuntu?> The latest versions(0.164?) appear to have problems when trying to> select the floppy from the menu.
