A good cleaning of the contacts would do good. The best way to clean the contacts is with a good quality eraser, or a magic eraser frommr clean (dry use).

If that does not help then you have to open it and see if the rom is seated full in his socket if there is one.

If ll seems oke then more checking is needed. I have the schematics and can look at it.

when I plug it in and turn the power on all I get is a bunch of letters and numbers all over the screen
does anyone know what could be wrong
