[Coco] NitrOS9 ROM

You could also write an OS-9 ROM bootloader. That is, a tiny routine 
that boots OS-9 from disk without ever loading the DECB/Microsoft stuff 
into memory.
I guess you could do that using the tiniest ROM available!

Or maybe I'm wrong and it's not possible?!
