Robert, actually, as Tormod stated, ccbkrn is part of Brett's CocoBoot. It does not have anything to do with the Becker Port although I think it does support it when you configure it for the Becker Port.
CocoBoot will boot from many different drive systems, including DW.

It is a Level-II replacement for
OS9P1 and is part of the kernel on track-34. It 
is needed for the Becker port
of various emulators enabling Drivewire.
