Look for:
"Robert Gault was kind enough to make such a boot disk for me.
Disconnected, the vga converter and the monitor, 
connected the bit banger port to Com-1 on the PC,
ran Putty, a terminal program in windows on it.
When I turned on the Coco with this boot floppy in drive 0
and blindly typed DOS on the keyboard, a bit later 
could see the date and the OS-9: prompt in the terminal program's window. "
