[Coco] Rainbow on disk

Hi,

OK, it's the problem of the bell curve.

In the beginning Rainbow had few subscribers and in the end few also.

We have the middle period covered quite well when there were lots of subscribers.

Maybe the Internet Archive, if the project is accepted, will shake out a few more. Having all is just not going to happen. Well maybe if lots of human time would be put in scanning, OCRing and then correcting what was printed in Rainbow.

But then re scanning and OCRing Rainbow completely was very unexpected. Someone has lots of time and don't know what to do with it.

I am stuck as to what to put in the Internet Archive for a contact as I likely will not be around forever. MM will be gone someday, the Facebook list is an even faster conveyer to the bit bucket than MM is. My current plan is to include mailto:a_nani_mouse at mindspring.com and say if no response comes back to try MM or the Facebook page. The last is mainly "look at what I just purchased".

Plus I am using tools that likely no one else has. I don't want to lock up the Internet Archive version like the Rainbow magazine set is, but there may be no choice.

What is keeping me going on the ROTROD project is the download count for "Rainbow text searchable index v1.pdf". It now is at 1,247. Aaron has not given me a count of downloads from his Rainbow page. The http://www.colorcomputerarchive.com/ rejected it twice so that count is zero.
