[Coco] vcc and WIDTH command when using HDB-DOS

Didier, there are already roms in the Vcc directory if you downloaded Vcc1.4.3b. There's no need to use the roms from Cloud9. Those are old and un-updated. The ones in Vcc are newer,, and the ones from ToolShed are even newer.
You should find 2 roms in the Vcc package...
hdbdw4bc3.rom - This is the normal hdbdos Coco3/Becker rom
hdbdw3bck.rom - This is the hdbdos Coco 3 rom without the speedup poke for playing Coco2/clock based games

If you use these roms, you should have no problem. In the Tooldshed package, use ONLY the roms of the same name.

If you want to get Vcc up and running quickly, Try my "Vcc/DW4/HDBDOS/NitrOS9 Starter Kits". They are a "turnkey" solution for getting started with Vcc or XRoar.

Hope it helps.

That is strange for sure.
I just downloaded the current 1.43beta of VCC.
I also tested both the hdbdw3bck.rom and hdbdw3bc3.rom and DW boots up fine.
I then did a WIDTH 40 and WIDTH 80 and both the commands worked.
So at this point I am not sure what your configuration is, but the default
VCC beta package and roms seem to work for me.

Normal no. As of right now I am at a loss of what might be causing your
problem.
