[Coco] Help loading cassette data on a CoCo 2

Most phones have a compressor built into the sound. The compressor "normalizes" peaks and valleys in the wav therefore flattening the peeks. This is so most sounds come through the phone at the same volume. The Coco relies on the sample to be "unmodified".
 That's why you had to have a recorder without "auto level" recording back in the 80s, as they normalized the sound on record and made the tape unusable.

Hi Chad,

Thanks!  I don't know why, but the problem seems to have been my phone.  I
was able to make it work perfectly fine from the laptop.  Maybe the phone is
doing some sort of EQ or something.

Anyhow, I wound up burning an audio CD with some programs for my kids to
enjoy, until I get the disk drive working.

I'd be interested in TAPEUTIL.BIN.  I've been doing LOAD/CSAVE but it's a
bit more annoying with BIN files.  (CSAVEM requires some additional work!)
