I'm not too sure what hardware is being emulated here.  I know it's not
emulating the Hi-Res Interface.  It's passing through from Linux -> WINE ->
VCC -> environment, which could explain the stability.

Can anyone who has used it on real hardware vouch for the stability of the
mouse?
