Sorry, don't agree. Blatant greed does nothing but artificially inflate 
prices and when everyone jumps on the bandwagon, that suddenly becomes 
the 'normal price'.

As I'm sure I've lamented here before, a case in point is Mario Party 1, 
2 & 3 for the N64. They aren't even _remotely_ rare, possibly even 
amongst the most common cartridges for the N64, yet the prices are 
ridiculous; each eBay auction is driven by the last and despite the fact 
that there's always several available at any one time, the prices all 
start high.

Ditto for the C64 - more C64's were produced than any other in the 
history of pre-PC machines, yet you can't get a decent working example 
now for much less than AUD$100 here. The price isn't driven by supply, 
it's driven by previous sales.
