I know this product, I have 4 or 5, none are working
They just adjust the pins, not the protocol

The keyboard seller advertise that their keyboard are usb + ps/2
But in fact most of the time ps2 through converter is not working

Most adapter simply dont work with a keyboard other than qwerty With an azerty it's hopeless

The only qwerty keyboard you can find on amazon.fr Is a usb keyboard with an adapter (most of the time the adapter is not working)

This question comes up about once a year.

PS/2 keyboards are not hard to find. They are still being made new by both mass market and high end keyboard manufacturers. Amazon sells thousands of different models starting at $5.

The PS/2 interface is still very much in active use and still found on all higher end/business model computers and servers. Still favored by network admins for security and gamers for n key rollover. It's not going anywhere.

Not an issue at all unless you just *want* to use a usb kwyboard. In that case, maybe a fun project ;) On Nov 8, 2014 9:31 AM, "didier derny"
