[Coco] When did 2 buttons come out? Was: DAC sound output and keyboard input

I'm not sure, but a version of the CoCo2 also support two button 
Joysticks? Or was it just CoCo 3 that could use them.  I just remember 
writing code for two buttons before the CoCo 3 days.
