I was about 12 or 13 when I would regularly hang out
at the local Radio Shack going through the Getting
Started With Extended Color Basic manual on a 16K CoCo1.
Never would have bought my own if I hadn't had the chance
to extensively "test drive" it.  Guys at the store never bothered
me.
