[Coco] Does anyone have a Level3 disk that actually boots?

Robert, According to what I read in the error list in cc3go (when disassembled), if for any reason config.os9 is not found or fails, cc3go will default to whatever the default is. In the case of that cc3go its "/dd/cmds".
I like the way that cc3go works, it would be nice to see that feature in the current sysgo. It's only a few more lines of code to sysgo and sysgo goes away after running so it wouldn't take up anymore system memory by adding to it. You could set quite a few things from config.os9 without messing with startup. Basically, it's just running a 2nd startup script. Since it's not running before the shell (startup has already linked the shell by then) and instead, running from the shell, you may be able to set things like a chd to a default dir. In any case, setting multiple cmds paths is pricless.

Is this something sporadic or maybe setup? I use your boot raw no mods on my
part (same HD size and setup, except I use /H0 as /DD)

I just found the problem. The disk image I sent you did not have config.os9 in
the SYS directory. I've been playing with a config.os9 from a different disk and

that was causing a problem.

There were some directories listed in config.os9 which did not exist. Whatever
error that caused, could not be dealt with with 512K on the VCC but would work
with 2Meg. Now that I have edited config.os9 to match the disk, 512K works!

For some unknown reason, the config.os9 did not affect booting on a real Coco3.
