This XP powered machine I'm using right now started failing to boot and it
was acting up. Turns out the hard drive was failing, or did fail.
So I reverted back to another hard drive and it solved the problem. The
only issue is, upon trying to fix it without the other hard drive, I lost
everything in emails and addresses.
Hard drives don't last forever. Computers last a LOT longer.
NEVER rely on a hard drive to hang in there. Always back the darned thing
up!!
It's mechanical, spinning at a high speed and bearings, heads and platters
will eventually fail.
 Darned mechanicals.

My Coco.... I always backup a floppy or the hard drive until the backup
hard drive FAILED. Dangit!!!! So now I had EVERYTHING backed up onto this
computer's hard drive until IT failed.
Now I think I should use my Internet website to send my stuff to, cuz they
backup EVERYTHING daily. The most I would have lost is ONE day's changes on
the computers.....IF I BACKED THEM UP EVERY DAY!!!

I wish I had the $$ to buy the drives to do this myself, at home.

George
