[Coco] 64k memory check

Ok, 64k test passed... HDBDOS loads... NitrOS-9 Level 1 DW boots... Archives accessed
Total success on first try. According to the original owner, it was stock 64k ECB. When I finish recieving the complete package, I'll post pics of the whole setup. This system is clean and well taken care of. There's even an X-Pad and DMP-100 printer which look brand new! All battleship grey. I even have a grey MPI to match it all, though that came with my Coco 3 system. I had an old drive that had the grey case but when my original system got flooded, it rusted up real bad. I may be able to clean it up and repaint it. I think I read somewhere (old Rainbow?) that Mercedes Benz grey touch-up paint was almost an exact match... Ironic eh?

iff memory serve (pun intended), that can only be done via a machine language 
routine. The problem is that those coco's had the upper 32k mapped into the same 
spot as ROM and the interrupts need to be disabled. The rom switches off and the 
poke command would not be operable any more. There was a small binary app that 
copied thr ROM to ram but it didn't actually test the upper 32K of memory.

first Coco 1s actually "meant" to be upgraded to 64k, I assume it is 64k.The 
warrenty seal has been removed and replaced by a Radio Shack Service Center 
seal, so I would think it had to be upgraded by Radio Shack or the seal would be 
broken. What I would like to know, and I know it's been discussed many times 
before, is if there is a PEEK/POKE or short routine to test for 64k? I plan to 
hook it up to a drive and run OS-9 Level 1 and that will surely fail if it's 
32k. But if there's a quick way, that would save me a lot of troubleHere a link
