Me, waving hand! I have a script I launch along with drivewire, which
watches the text file "printer" output directory set in drivewire for new
files, and when one shows up and is closed by drivewire, grabs it, copies
it to a 25 file round robin directory and calls the one line script that
prints the new file, hard coded to feed, via cups and its rasterizers, a
Brother HL-2140 B&W Laser printer sitting on the top shelf of the coco3's
desk. So while I am working on the coco, if I need a printout of the
assembly, I can redirect the assembler to a file, then "list filename /p"
or just have the assembler feed /p which is the drivewire version of /p.

I use that, a lot.

Those scripts are on my web page if anyone wants to use them as a basis to
customize your own versions. Linux oriented of course, but I have to
assume that winderz has a utility to watch files or directory's that
matches the linux inotifywait kit of tools.

Cheers, Gene
