Linux has several "filesystems" available, with the default ext2-3-4 family
being hard on SD cards with their frequent system maintenance writes, so
you may have to get a new SD card. The wear leveling built into the card
can eventually use up its rewrite mechanism.

There are linux filesystems that do not wear out SD cards, and there are
options you can set to stretch the life, so before you put another new card
in it, do some reading, or join the linux-scsi mailing list and ask for
advice there.
